Some standout sessions for our team:
European Tank Storage in the Current Global Context: Opportunities and Challenges by Jason Rajah, Partner at Energex, and Ravi Bhatiani, Executive Director at FETSA EU. One key takeaway: Even though production of mineral oil products in Europe is declining, tank storage capacity is still increasing to ensure long-term supply security – a development Holger did not expect.
Smart, Safe and Human: The Digital Future of Tank Storage by Marcel van den Eijnden, Group IT/OT Manager, Michael Lübke, Managing Director and Verena Staab, Process Improvement Manager, all Evos. Also highlighted by both Holger and Marcel, this session delivered strong impulses on the role of digitalization, safety, and the interaction between people and technology.
