1989
Since 2017, VTA Software & Service has been an independent company within the Hegmanns Group. But like every success story, ours has a prologue: Our experience namely goes back to the year 1989. At that time, Veba Oel Technologie GmbH (VOT) was founded, whose mission was to organize the shipment of mineral oil and fuels. This makes VTA an agile start-up with decades of know-how in the energy industry. Since then, a lot has changed - but some things haven't. Today, for example, the same colleagues who helped build VOT are enriching our team
2009
We offer our software as a SaaS solution for the first time. These cloud-based applications enable our customers to optimize business processes and simplify communication within and outside the organization. Due to its processes, the energy industry is one of the biggest CO2 emitters. As a forward-looking company, we help our customers to produce more eco-friendly products, achieve their climate targets and reduce their carbon footprint as part of the decarbonization process. For example, we developed software to manage sustainability certificates, optimally blend fuels, or calculate biofuel quotas.

At VTA, we strive to guarantee our customers professional data security on the internet. For this reason, in 2013 we decided to obtain the internationally recognized ISO/IEC 27001 certification. This certification confirms that we have implemented strict security measures to ensure the confidentiality, security and availability of important information as well as sensitive data.

VTA is part of the critical infrastructure. This means that we are significantly responsible for maintaining important social functions with our SaaS solutions. We are proud of this recognition - however, we know that with it comes a great responsibility. That's why we will continue to work to meet all security requirements on an ongoing basis.
