Matthias Wetterau takes over as head of Business Development

We must be doing something right, because we’ve once again added a truly strong new member to our team.

On October 1, 2026, Matthias Wetterau—a true heavyweight from the fuel industry—joined us. He brings more than 25 years of IT experience from BP EUROPA SE, most recently as Global IT Portfolio Manager.

At VTA Software & Service, Matthias will take over as head of the Business Development division. His mission: to drive our continued growth and open up new opportunities for our business. This includes eliminating bottlenecks in operations, developing new business areas and markets, and establishing collaborations with partners in IT and other departments.
