IAA Transportation – A Look into the Future of Logistics!

Our colleague Marcel Tilke, Head of Digital Logistics, naturally took a very close look at all the vehicles that might be driving through the fuel depots in the future at the IAA TRANSPORTATION in Hanover. There were plenty of exciting new vehicles to discover, from Mercedes-Benz AG, Volvo Group, Scania Group, and many other manufacturers.

Our personal highlight? Without a doubt, the DAF Trucks NV tractor unit featuring the FC Schalke 04 design, presented by Lease Perfect GmbH. But who could blame us?

Despite the hustle and bustle at the trade show, Marcel also managed to spot a few familiar faces. He had a nice chat with Florian Boenigk of Mittelstandsverband abfallbasierter Kraftstoffe e.V. (MVaK) who was exhibiting at a joint booth with Verband der Deutschen Biokraftstoffindustrie (VDB) and EWABA and presenting the latest developments in biodiesel.

Bottom line: a varied and informative day for Marcel, and plenty of insights and information for us. After all, if you want to know what logistics will look like tomorrow, you need to take a close look at it today.
