Career Day in Gelsenkirchen: Campus meets VTA

Our Career Team Claudia Nowoczin and Christoph Bölitz once again attended the Career Day at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences as part of Campus meets Business.

At our booth, the two of them showcased how we're an attractive employer in the region, met numerous interested students, and had many engaging conversations about career paths, entry into the workforce, and development opportunities.

A special highlight was the live demonstration of a software module for tank car scheduling from our SIDEFLOW division, presented by Leon van Outvorst, one of our dual-enrollment students. This allowed us to give visitors a practical insight into the innovative projects and areas of responsibility that are already possible during a dual-enrollment program with us.

The great interest in our booth and the many positive conversations confirm to us that direct exchange between universities and companies is incredibly important for recruitment. We look forward to perhaps welcoming some of today’s talents as colleagues on our team very soon.
