Captivating and honest: Topics at the UNITI Winter Conference

For our CEO Johannes Kuhlmann, spring kicks off with a highlight at the winter conference, hosted by UNITI Bundesverband EnergieMittelstand e.V..

Following an engaging supporting program that included a welcome evening and a cabin evening, opened by Christine Keslar-Tunder and Elmar Kühn, the lectures provided plenty of inspiration and insights.

From the honest and critical analysis of the German economy by Clemens Fuest of ifo Institute – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, to the assessment of German corporations' standing in China by Nicole Steiger of JSC Automotive GmbH to the views on climate protection within the economic reality of State Minister for European and International Affairs Eric Beißwenger. Many of the topics discussed regarding small and medium-sized energy companies are precisely what has always driven us.

Furthermore, the insights into the potential of e-fuels provided by Porsche Consulting and the highly topical report by Christian Küchen on the political reactions to rising energy costs due to the war in Iran provide food for thought and raise concerns about the future outlook.

The exchange with Julia Westphal, Dr. Ruprecht Brandis and other experts from the energy sector rounded out the event with lively networking.

Thank you very much for the interesting insights from the UNITI Winter Conference, which offered a clear - and at times uncomfortable - perspective on the economy, energy, and international developments.

In addition to numerous statements that resonated deeply with us, the presentations certainly provided plenty to think about, and that is exactly what we are happy to take away with us.
