Bears and Meerkats at the VTA Summer Party

Team spirit isn’t just fostered in our day-to-day work — it’s built above all through shared experiences.
That’s why we look forward to our annual summer party every year. This time, our group outing took us to Zoom Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen.

Together with the dedicated guides, we explored the African adventure world — perfect for the summer temperatures — or ventured on a trip to Alaska. A special highlight: We got to feed meerkats with mealworms and brown bears with apples. Along the way, we learned lots of fascinating facts about the animals and their habitats.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Zoom Erlebniswelt, who, despite the heat, guided us through the various worlds with great dedication and made this day a special experience.

Just as valuable as the experiences with the animals were the many conversations we had with one another. As a modern employer, we enable our employees to work both flexibly and from home. As a result, many colleagues don’t see each other regularly in their day-to-day lives. That’s why the summer party is an opportunity to connect in person, laugh together, and spend time with one another.

Over delicious food and refreshing drinks, we focussed primarily on spending time together. We’re convinced that shared experiences strengthen team cohesion, and that’s exactly what forms the foundation of a successful and motivated team.
