3rd Gelsenkirchen Businesslounge at VTA

"Energy security and IT: Just how critical is it, really?"

This question was at the center of the 3rd Gelsenkirchen Businesslounge, which we were able to host this time at VTA.

We talked with companies from the region about how closely energy supply and IT are now connected. The discussion covered NIS-2 and KRITIS, cloud and external dependencies, digitalization and automation, and the question of how companies can safeguard their knowledge and use AI in a meaningful way.

What was particularly exciting for us were the many different perspectives. Companies face similar challenges but often deal with them very differently. That is exactly where new ideas and concrete suggestions for everyday work come from.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Uta Willim of Wirtschaftsförderung Gelsenkirchen who asked us whether we would like to be the host this time, and to Stefan Hegmanns, for allowing us to use the facilities of the Hegmanns Gruppe.
